Josh Laqeretabua joined the Addicks' academy at U9 level and began playing for the U18s when he was just 16 years old.
The defender has enjoyed an impressive two years as a scholar, helping the U18s to their Professional Development League Two - South title in 2022/23.
In the summer following that season, Laqeretabua represented Fiji at the U20 World Cup in Argentina, playing against the likes of Ecuador and the United States. He also signed a professional deal with Charlton in July 2023.
In the 2023/24 campaign, the defender played two games for the first-team, including a start against Aston Villa’s U21s in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
