Having spent the second half of last season on loan with the Addicks from Tottenham Hotspur, Gracie Pearse completed a permanent move in the summer, agreeing a two-year deal.
The defender, who impressed during her four appearances for the Addicks and successfully gelled into the Charlton squad, returns to SE7 intent on winning promotion after the club narrowly missed out on the title last season.
Still relatively youthful at the age of 21, the Arsenal academy graduate has the potential to develop into a key player for the Addicks, and has already shown her defensive reliability in Charlton colours.
And despite that youth, she joins with a good wealth of Women’s Championship experience, having spent time on loan at Crystal Palace and Bristol City prior to making her move to SE7.
It was her performances during an initial permanent spell at Palace as a teenager which earned her a move to Women’s Super League side Tottenham, before being loaned back to the Eagles to gain further senior experience.
During her time with Bristol City, she won the Women’s Championship, and will be keen to repeat that achievement in Charlton colours come the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
