Nathan Jones was appointed as the men’s first-team's Manager in February 2024, signing a long-term contract with Charlton.
Jones, who played a vital role in Luton Town’s rise from League Two to the Premier League during two successful spells, returns to the club where he led a team for the first time in 2012.
The Welshman enjoyed a successful campaign as the Addicks' U21s Lead Coach in the 2012/13 season before becoming Brighton & Hove Albion’s Assistant Head Coach.
A former professional who enjoyed a 21-year playing career, Jones began his managerial career in January 2016 with Luton, then in the lower echelons of the League Two table.
He guided the Hatters into the play-offs in his first full season at Kenilworth Road and went one better during the following campaign, securing automatic promotion to League One.
Following a flying start to life in the third tier that saw Luton sat second by January 2019, Jones was named as the new Manager of Championship side Stoke City.
In May 2020, he re-joined Luton who sat 23rd in the Championship and successfully steered the club to safety on the final day of the season.
The positive progress continued as Jones led Town into the play-off places, culminating in him being named 2021/22 Championship Manager of the Season.
After leaving his mark on Luton, he was appointed as Manager of then-Premier League outfit Southampton in November 2022.
