Dave Huzzey was appointed as Charlton's new Individual Development Coach in January 2025.

Huzzey, who helps bridge the gap between academy and first-team football in his role, joined the club following a five-and-a-half-year spell at Colchester United, where he worked as Academy Manager, men’s first-team Assistant Manager and Academy to First-Team Transition Coach.

Prior to that, he spent eight years within Southend United's academy.
