On Wednesday, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) hosted the Extra Time Hub Christmas party at The Valley with over 100 of its participants.
A live band proved to be popular with lots of the participants up on their feet dancing to their favourite tunes.
The Addicks U21 squad also joined the party and got stuck into a variety of activities. Whilst Henry Molyneux and Ralfi Hand headed to the dance floor, Jason Adigun, Tolu Ladapo and Nazir Bakrin helped to serve teas and coffees. Meanwhile some of the other players went head-to-head with Extra Time participants in table tennis and darts.
Charlton co-owner Charlie Methven and Managing Director James Rodwell stopped by to lend a helping hand in serving up Christmas dinners to the participants alongside the U21 squad and Charlton Athletic Women’s U21 players Angela Nelson-Iye and Taylor Bell, who also helped with the post-dinner raffle.
The Extra Time Hub is a social club for over 55s which meets weekly and brings together retired and semi-retired people to engage them in active ageing.
