The club's Fans’ Forum invites supporters to join together at the 2023 Player of the Year dinner at The Valley.
The dinner will take place in the Meantime Fans’ Bar in the Covered End on Sunday, April 30th with doors opening at 6pm. A two-course meal will be served from 7pm once the players and management team have taken their seats, with the bar open from 6pm until late.
As with previous dinners, a member of each of the men and women’s first-team playing squads will be allocated to the tables of those booking first. However, fans are advised that there will be a limited number of these tables available and the Ticket Office will be unable to confirm this at the time of ticket purchase.
Following dinner, the evening’s raffle will be drawn with excellent prizes on offer - including signed club memorabilia.
The results of the voting for both teams will be announced followed by the unveiling of both 2023 Player of the Year winners, who will be presented with their trophies. Additional trophies will also be given - including the Young Player of the Year, the Charlton Athletic Disabled Supporters Association (CADSA) Player of the Year and the Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) award for services to the community. Manager Dean Holden will then bring this part of the evening to a close with his thoughts on the season and a message to supporters.
Once the formalities are over, there will be opportunities for photos and autographs with your favourite players and management staff.
Tickets for the event will go on sale from 11am on Monday, March 27th. You can purchase yours by ringing the Ticket Office on 03330 144444 or visiting in person. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets online by clicking here.
All transactions are by credit card only and there is an additional admin fee of £2.50 for telephone and £1.50 for online purchases. When booking you will be asked to provide your name (as an individual or as head of your party) and contact details, as well as the number of vegan/vegetarian meals required and any additional dietary requirements for members of your group.
Tickets for the event are priced £45 per person with concessions available for one carer per disabled supporter, which may be purchased at a cost of £23. Fans are asked to purchase tickets for all members of their party from the outset as it may not be possible to increase the number of tickets purchased at a later date. We therefore urge you to make contact with your group prior to booking and to book under one person’s name.
Dress code for the evening is smart casual.
This is a supporters’ event, organised by fans for the fans.
