Lifelong Charlton fan Adam Palmer is once again fundraising for suicide prevention charity Legend on the Bench.
Adam has raised over £26,000 for various different charities across the last seven years and has since become a Trustee for the charity, whose ambassadors include former Tottenham Hotspur players Micky Hazard and Ossie Ardiles.
"I have been fundraising for many different charities over the years, charities that have had an impact in my life," Adam explained.
"Me raising money for them is my way of saying thank you for all that they do. Over the years I've done charity football matches, charity walks, auctions, raffles, speed quizzes and scratch cards."
Adam already has two major fundraisers lined up in 2025, the first of which comes in April when he will walk from Sittingbourne to Wainscott.
"We're walking from Sittingbourne because that's where we played our last charity football match. When we arrive in Wainscott, I'll be revealing the suicide prevention bench that's being installed. I'm raising funds for the suicide prevention charity Legend on the Bench.
"The charity puts benches in parks and surrounding areas to try and save lives. The benches have QR codes on them and information regarding helplines you can call in your hour of need.”"

In addition to this, Adam is hosting a charity football match at Chatham Town on Saturday, May 17th. He previously raised thousands of pounds in aid of Leukemia Care, with one of his major fundraisers seeing him walk from The Valley to MEMS Priestfield Stadium in 2023.
