Gassan Ahadme was delighted after his first Charlton goal sealed three points for the Addicks against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
The summer signing's match-winning moment came four minutes into the second period, when he bundled a corner home from close range.
"It was really important to get the win," said the striker. "We got a clean sheet and to score a goal as well, I'm really happy about it."
Saturday's contest was another physical battle, something which Ahadme relishes.
"That's what I'm asked to do," he said. "I'm happy to do that and I'll keep doing that. I'm ready to do whatever the Manager asks me because that's what I'm here for, so whoever I have to play with, I try to give my best.
"You can see from our position in the league that we're doing well. I'm happy to be part of the team and helping the team to do so. Hopefully we can keep it going."
