Tyreece Campbell spoke to CharltonTV after scoring in the Addicks' 3-0 triumph over Exeter City at The Valley.
The victory is Charlton's fifth home win on the spin, with four clean sheets in that time.
"I think we dominated from start to finish," Campbell told CharltonTV. "It’s good to bounce back from the last game we lost and it was good to make things right today.
"I work on that finish every day and I’ve had a few opportunities like that in other games, but it hasn’t come off so it’s good for it to come off today! I knew what I was going to do [as soon as I got the ball].
"I enjoy playing at The Valley a lot. The fans help us - it's like an extra player and the support goes a very long way."
The 21-year-old says he is loving his football and is keen to keep repaying the faith that Nathan Jones has shown in him.
"I’m enjoying my role a lot," explained the academy graduate. "I feel free and that I’m doing well, so I want to keep helping the team as much as I can.
"[Nathan] helps me a lot, and it makes me want to keep going. I’m just happy that he’s trusting me to play and I just want to give thanks."
