Charlton's U21s have strengthened their goalkeeping ranks with the signing of England youth international Tommy Reid.
Reid joins following an impressive trial period that has seen him keep three clean sheets in five appearances for Chris Lock's unbeaten side.
Born in Hastings, the stopper joined Brighton & Hove Albion aged eight and progressed through the academy age groups.
The 19-year-old, who trained with the Premier League side’s first-team goalkeeping group, has also gained invaluable senior experience during non-League loan spells at Burgess Hill Town, Worthing and AFC Totton.
Charlton fans can support the academy by signing up to the Valley Gold scheme. Valley Gold enables fans to support the club’s academy in unearthing the talents of tomorrow, as well as giving them the chance to win cash prizes.
