Charlton Athletic can confirm that defender Hannah Godfrey sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture during the club's game against Birmingham City at The Valley on Sunday, September 18th.
The 25-year-old's diagnosis was confirmed after a scan earlier in the week and she will be undergoing surgery in due course.
Godfrey will now complete her rehabilitation process with the club, and we wish her all the very best in her recovery.
