Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) is excited to announce a new partnership with Charity Hive, the powerful fundraising platform, who have today launched CACT’s new bespoke fundraising and events website.
All of CACT’s fundraising event bookings, tickets, donations, supporter fundraising pages, crowdfunding, online shop, auctions and raffles will now be accessible “under one roof”, making everything centralised.
In addition to the core features of the platform, CACT’s Charity Hive website will also house CACT’s Football and Sports Development programmes, starting from the upcoming holiday football courses during the October half-term. This brand-new secure booking system has been fully customised to CACT’s requirements and provides a streamlined user experience with state-of-the-art technology.
With CACT now partnered up with Charity Hive, it becomes the first football related charity to join the growing family. Charity Hive founder Dan Bream said he was excited by the new partnership: “I’ve personally supported and have been involved with CACT for many years, so having it on board is fantastic.
“We are looking forward to working together and helping raise vital funds for the ground-breaking work CACT does in the community.
CACT’s CEO Jason Morgan MBE said: “After we had seen a presentation for Charity Hive, it was obvious that as a charity, we needed to take advantage of its features.
“Charity Hive has shown itself to be a simple but all-encompassing platform that contains everything we need to assist our fundraising activities and we are all excited by this new partnership.
The new website will be where all of CACT’s supporters can donate, set up fundraising pages and take part in auctions and raffles as well as book courses.
Michael Ward, CACT’s Head of Football and Sports Development, said: “I personally think that the new Charity Hive booking system is one of the easiest systems I have ever booked on. The process is quick and effective and will revolutionise our whole programme from bookings to administration.”

NOTES TO EDITORS
The Charity Hive platform provides a “one stop shop” with no setup or monthly service fees and includes fundraising tools, donor fundraising pages and blogs, events, tickets, donations, raffles, auctions, crowdfunding, online shop, communication tools, reporting, admin suite and an optional Marketing Platform. Everything from website hosting, support and upgrades are included, and as each charity, community amateur sports club (CASC), Parent Teacher Association (PTA), etc has their own site, they have a dedicated platform enabling them to connect and engage with supporters.
The Marketing Platform is an optional feature, which in effect provides the charity with a website in addition to the fundraising platform. Perfect for new charities or existing ones looking for an upgrade. Complete integration results in everything being in one place.
