As part of ITRM’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, on the 25th and 26th October 2016, team members Danny Hill and Steve Rudd joined the Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) to help coach at one of their holiday football courses.
Arriving at the Charlton Athletic Training Ground at Sparrows Lane, they were greeted by the CACT coaches and a group of enthusiastic young footballers aged between 5 and 15 years old. Both helped throughout the day coaching the different ages groups and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Danny commented, “Our CSR programme is great as it gives us all the opportunity to take part in activities linked to the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and the other charities that we support. This provides us all with an understanding of what they do within the community and see the benefits of their work first-hand. I really enjoyed my time helping the trust, it was a rewarding experience and I look forward to helping again in the future.”
Throughout the year ITRM and CACT have been working together to build a programme that enables all ITRM staff to commit one day per year to help with their initiatives.
