Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) has got into the November spirit with 11 of its staff signing up for ‘Movember’, helping raise funds for prostate cancer and mental health.
Supporting the Movember Foundation, staff members have 30 days (after clean shaving) to grow an impressive moustache, cut and groomed to their own fashion and style.
CACT’s director of youth and inclusion Marc Leckie is one of the staff members on board, saying: “I’m not quite sure how I¹ll look come the end of November, but it should be a good laugh. At the end of the day it’s for a cause that could have an impact on me and my male colleagues, so I’m really pleased with the uptake of staff taking part this year”.
CACT will update their ‘mogress’ on Twitter and Instagram, so be sure to follow these pages for the staff’s attempt at growing a ‘mo’.
To help the CACT team raise money for the cause, you can sponsor an individual, or the team collectively as they try and change not just their face, but the face of men’s health.
