Nathan Jones says his side are relishing the relentless upcoming Sky Bet League One schedule.
The Addicks return to league action with a trip to Rotherham United on Saturday.
Providing an update on the fitness of his squad, the gaffer said: "We’re in a better place in terms of getting people back. We’ve said that we're looking to streamline the squad, but make sure that we have the quality, the numbers, the fitness levels and the recovery to handle this period. We're looking forward to this period. We’ve had a few games called off which is frustrating, which meant our preparation has had to be slightly different."
The fixtures come thick and fast for the Addicks with back-to-back away trips against Rotherham and Bolton Wanderers in quick succession.
"Now we're looking forward to it being game, game, game," explained Jones. "You can’t do that every week, but for the next three weeks we're looking forward to that challenge and the rhythm that hopefully we can gain."
"We’re expecting the toughest of games - Rotherham are always a really competitive side at this level. We're under no illusions as to what the test will pose. It will be difficult - two sides in good form and they’ve had a couple of good wins this week as well."
