Academy graduate Deji Elerewe scored his second goal in as many games for Bromley on Saturday.
The centre-back headed home the decisive goal in the Ravens’ 1-0 triumph at Woking, having done likewise on his previous visit to the Laithwaite Community Stadium with Bromley last season. Andy Woodman’s side currently occupy the National League’s third and final automatic promotion place.
Fellow academy graduate Zach Mitchell played the entirety of Colchester United’s 1-0 win at Accrington Stanley, helping the U’s earn a first clean sheet in 11 outings.
Elsewhere in League Two, Jack Payne provided the assist for MK Dons’ second goal in a 3-2 victory at home to Swindon Town, while Aaron Henry came on as a 74th-minute substitute in Crawley Town’s 2-1 reverse at Forest Green Rovers.
In the National League, Daniel Kanu played 84 minutes of Southend United’s 1-1 draw at Boreham Wood and won the penalty that Jack Bridge duly converted. That result stretches the Shrimpers' unbeaten league run to seven matches.
Matt Dench, whose loan deal at Billericay Town has been extended until November 25th, played the full 90 minutes for the Blues, who sealed their place in the second round of the Isuzu FA Trophy in style with a 5-0 victory at home to Bury Town.
North of the border, Diallang Jaiyesimi made his full debut for St Johnstone, who suffered a 4-0 defeat at St Mirren in Scottish Premiership action.
Meanwhile, Jacob Roddy was an unused substitute in Weston-super-Mare’s 1-1 draw at home to Maidstone United in the National League South.
