MATCH PREVIEW | Cambridge United v Charlton

'

Charlton are back on the road this weekend with a trip to the Cledara Abbey Stadium to face Cambridge United (KO 3pm BST).

The Addicks made it 13 games unbeaten at The Valley last time out with a 2-2 draw against Lincoln City.

TEAM NEWS

Asked for the latest on the fitness of Tyreece Campbell (calf) and Lloyd Jones (calf), Nathan Jones said: "Tyreece had calf tightness so we didn’t take any chances with that. With an extra week, he’s a lot closer to the squad.

"Lloyd's exactly the same. We haven’t rushed these because they're two of our best players. It’s not that stage of the season yet, but we want to get all our best players back."

THE OPPOSITION

The U’s currently sit 23rd in the Sky Bet League One standings, seven points from safety.

Unbeaten in their last four outings, Neil Harris' side recorded a 1-0 win against Shrewsbury Town last weekend.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Cambridge have locked horns on 26 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 10, the U’s seven and the remaining nine meetings resulting in draws.

The Addicks ran out 2-1 victors in the reverse fixture at The Valley on Boxing Day thanks to goals from Campbell and Miles Leaburn.

MATCH OFFICIALS
