TEAM NEWS

Assistant Manager Paul Hart stood in for Nathan Jones, who had a family matter to deal with, during Thursday's pre-match press conference. Asked about the availability of Kayne Ramsay, Lloyd Jones and Connor Wickham, he said: “They have been going through a strict regime. It’s possible [that they could be back]. We’re cautious but it's possible.”

Miles Leaburn (hamstring) remains unavailable.

The visitors will make a late call on Robbie Cundy (hamstring), though Donovan Pines (thigh)
and Matty Wolfe (knee) are both sidelined.

THE OPPOSITION

The Tykes currently sit firmly in the Sky Bet League One play-off spots, seven points clear of sixth-placed Lincoln City who have played one more game.

Neill Collins’ side came from behind to return to winning ways with a 3-1 triumph at Burton Albion on Monday. Joe Powell fired the hosts ahead but John McAtee's brace and Luca Connell's strike earned Barnsley their fourth away win on the spin.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Barnsley have gone toe-to-toe on 55 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 21, the Tykes 18 and the remaining 16 clashes resulting in draws.

The two sides last met at Oakwell back in December 2023, when Corey Blackett-Taylor netted for the Addicks in a 1-1 draw.
