MATCH PREVIEW | Charlton v Birmingham City

Karen Hills’ side will be looking to get back to winning ways after their eight-game winning streak came to an end a fortnight ago with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, this was the Addicks' first defeat since October, 30th. 

Charlton will now turn their attention to Cup action this Sunday welcoming Birmingham City to The Oakwood this Sunday in the fifth round of the Vitality Women's FA Cup KO 2 PM.   
 
Hills' side also made it to round five last season, bowing out to WSL side Everton 2-0.

Darren Carter’s Birmingham side will travel to The Oakwood off the back of a slim 1-0 defeat to table toppers London City Lionesses thanks to a Karin Muya strike just after the restart. 
 
The Blues saw themselves advance into the fifth round after an impressive 1-0 victory over WSL side Everton. Striker Jade Pennock helped steer her side to victory with a 61st-minute strike.

The two sides locked horns at the start of the 2022/23 season with the Addicks securing a comfortable 3-0 victory at The Valley meeting back in September, thanks to goals from Ella Rutherford and Angela Addison and an own goal from City’s goalkeeper Lucy Thomas.
