TEAM NEWS

Matty Godden (hamstring) missed Saturday’s game at Wigan with a slight knock and fellow striker Miles Leaburn (hamstring) remains on the road to recovery from the injury he sustained last term.

Lee Buchanan (calf) and Alfie Chang (knee) are both expected to miss out for the visitors, while new arrival Willum Willumsson (knee) is also an injury doubt after being forced off in Saturday's season-opener.

THE OPPOSITION

The Blues finished 22nd in the Championship last season and were relegated to Sky Bet League One, but have spent big on 10 new signings this summer in an attempt to get back to the second tier at the first time of asking.

A late penalty from former Addick Alfie May rescued a point for Chris Davies’ side in their opening league game against Reading on Saturday.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The sides have met 66 times prior to tonight's meeting, with the Addicks having won 24, Blues 21 and the remaining 21 clashes resulting in draws.

Their last encounter came in July 2020 when a stoppage-time equaliser from Lukas Jutkiewicz salvaged a point for the Blues at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Alex Chilowicz will be the referee on Tuesday night. He will be supported by assistant referees Andrew Hickman and Daniel Bonneywell, as well as Fourth Official Aaron Farmer.
