Holden reported no fresh injury concerns in his Thursday press conference and Tyreece Campbell has returned to training after missing the midweek trip to Buckinghamshire.
Ryan Inniss remains unavailable as he serves the second game of his three-match suspension. Lucas Ness (knee), Corey Blackett-Taylor (hamstring) and Chuks Aneke (hamstring) are also sidelined.
Donald Love, Max Melbourne, Liam Shaw, Caleb Watts, Ash Hunter, Adam Mayor and Courtney Duffus are all injury concerns for Morecambe, although boss Derek Adams is hopeful of having 'one or two of them back' this weekend.
Adams’ men currently sit 22nd in the Sky Bet League One table, three points adrift of safety and having played one more game than 20th-placed Oxford United.
Morecambe claimed a first win in 11 last time out, with Cole Stockton's 89th-minute strike earning the Shrimps a dramatic 1-0 victory against play-off chasing Wycombe Wanderers.
Charlton and Morecambe have met on three previous occasions with the Addicks winning one, the Shrimps one and the remaining clash resulting in a draw.
Holden's Addicks earned a comprehensive 4-1 win on the road in the reverse fixture in March. Blackett-Taylor bagged a first-half brace with Miles Leaburn and Scott Fraser also on the scoresheet in Lancashire.
David Rock will be the man in the middle this weekend. The official last refereed a Charlton fixture back in August 2022 - a 1-1 draw at Wycombe Wanderers.
Rock will be assisted by Daniel Cook and Steven Plane, while Stephen Brown is the Fourth Official.
