It was another convincing performance from Charlton Women as they secured a 2-0 win against Blackburn at Ewood Park this Sunday afternoon.
The first ten minutes set the tone for a dominant first-half performance from the Addicks, with Charlton controlling possession predominantly in the opposition's half.
The breakthrough came when Newsham delivered a perfect cross into the box, finding Muya, who headed the ball into the bottom left corner to give Charlton their first goal of the game.
After the goal, the London side remained in control, showing confidence and composure on the ball across all areas of the pitch.
Charlton's second goal came in the 32nd minute, following a corner. Filis delivered the ball into the box, and N'Dow found herself in the midst of a crowd, heading the ball into the back of the net.
Blackburn came out in the second half with renewed determination, providing more resistance and challenging Charlton’s attempts to maintain possession.
Charlton had a few opportunities to extend their lead in the second half but couldn't quite convert them into a third goal.
The game ended 2-0, extending the Addicks' perfect run in the Barclays Women's Championship to four games.
