A nail-biting game ended in a draw, allowing the Addicks to maintain their unbeaten run and stay at the top of the Women's Championship table.

The Addicks started powerfully, attacking immediately and creating a chance within the first thirty seconds. However, they quickly became unsettled and struggled to find their rhythm in the game.

The home side then found themselves trailing after conceding a perfectly taken free kick from the opposition in the seventh minute.

Despite falling behind, Charlton continued to struggle with their passing, unable to string together plays, which allowed Sunderland to score again from a corner in the 23rd minute.

Following this second goal, the Addicks’ determination began to show. As their confidence grew, they became more of a threat. In the 30th minute, a perfect delivery from Hutton met the head of Barton, who looped the ball over the keeper.

Charlton came out for the second half with renewed intensity, pushing for an equaliser. Attempts from Barton and Muya brought them closer to leveling the score.

In the 67th minute, Hills made three attacking substitutions in a bold attempt to chase the equaliser and inject fresh energy into the game. However, the Addicks were punished once again from a set piece, as Sunderland scored their third goal in the 78th minute.

Despite going 3-1 down, the home team showed incredible spirit. Muya responded with a goal in the 80th minute, and just five minutes later, the number 16 scored her second of the game, bringing the Addicks level for the first time.

After a remarkable comeback, the match ended 3-3 at The Valley.
