TEAM NEWS | Tyreece Campbell returns to starting XI

Birthday boy Tyreece Campbell returns to the starting line-up for this afternoon’s clash against Shrewsbury Town at the Croud Meadow (KO 3pm BST).

The 21-year-old impressed in his cameo appearance off the bench in last week’s 1-1 draw at home to Rotherham United and replaces Matty Godden in Nathan Jones' XI.

Elsewhere, Daniel Kanu is back amongst the Addicks' substitutes bench having returned from international duty with Sierra Leone.

The Addicks are expected to once again start in a 3-5-2 formation with Alex Mitchell, Lloyd Jones and Macaulay Gillesphey starting in a back three in front of goalkeeper Will Mannion.

Kayne Ramsay and Thierry Small are expected to start as wing-backs with Conor Coventry, captain Greg Docherty and Luke Berry lining up in midfield.

The returning Campbell joins Gassan Ahadme up front.

Godden and Kanu are joined on the bench by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Dan Potts, Tennai Watson, Allan Campbell and Chuks Aneke.
