Charlton Athletic can confirm that forward Tegan McGowan sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture during the club's Barclays Women's Championship fixture against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday, November 20th.
The 18-year-old's diagnosis was confirmed after a scan earlier in the week and she will be undergoing surgery soon.
McGowan will now complete her rehabilitation with Charlton, and we wish her all the very best in her recovery.
