Charlton’s official new beer partner, Greenwich-based Meantime Brewery, will sponsor Thursday evening’s 30 Years Back at The Valley anniversary dinner.
The new drinks selection was available to enjoy from last weekend’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Stockport County.
Andy Box, Director of Local Brands at Asahi UK, said: “We have been really pleased by the reaction from Charlton supporters since the announcement of our partnership and we are all very excited about our partnership with the club.
“A key focus for us is working Charlton supporters to make the most of the partnership. We have a variety of activities planned, including working with fans on a new Charlton beer especially for The Valley. The sponsorship of Thursday's event is the first activity and allows us to be a part of the celebrations around a truly iconic moment in Charlton’s history.”
Preparations for the event include installing new art work in the popular Meantime Fans’ Bar, which supporters will be able to see on Thursday evening and at Charlton’s home game at The Valley on Friday night against Cheltenham.
As part of the celebrations, season-ticket holders are able to bring a friend of family member for free to Friday's game and all adult match tickets are priced at just £19.92. U18s and students can purchase match tickets at £7, while U11s tickets cost £6. Click here to purchase your tickets.
A variety of the legends attending will also visit the club’s hospitality lounges during the day. Click here to purchase a hospitality package for the game.
