Charlton's U21s return to Sparrows Lane on Friday afternoon to host Cardiff City in Professional Development League Two (KO 1pm GMT).
The young Addicks head into the fixture having progressed to the Premier League Cup knockout stages with a 3-1 win on the road against Birmingham City. Ryan Huke netted a brace, with Kaheim Dixon scoring with a stunning strike at The Arden Garages Stadium.
Chris Lock’s side currently sit second in the PDL2 - South table, a place and two points ahead of Friday’s opponents.
Elsewhere, the Bluebirds will look to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat against table toppers Brentford last time out.
