Last Saturday Tyreece Campbell joined a list of Charlton Athletic players produced through the club's youth system to play 100 times or more for the men's first-team.
The 21-year-old made his 100th Charlton appearance during last weekend's away fixture against Rotherham United, nearly three years after making his senior debut at The Valley in February 2022.
27 players have now reached that milestone in the last 50 years, nine of whom went on to become full internationals with their respective countries whilst at the club or when they moved on to pastures new.
From Les Berry making his debut in October 1975 to Campbell, the talent on show with Charlton and on to other clubs in their careers show what an excellent foundation that the football club have given them over the years, thanks to the excellent staff in the academy who bring these players on and then into the men's first-team environment.
Not forgetting of course the ongoing support from Valley Gold through your contributions as supporters into the scheme.
