Jay Dasilva captained England U19s to a thumping, 5-1 victory over Belarus at St. George’s Park on Monday afternoon.
The win - which was secured through goals from Lukas Nmecha, Isaac Buckley-Ricketts, Marcus Edwards and two from Chris Willock - ensured that the Young Lions ended their Championship Elite Round qualifying campaign with a 100 per cent record.
Dasilva started all three of England’s matches this window, captaining them twice, in which they beat Norway and Spain 3-0, as well as recording the 5-1 victory against Belarus.
Josh Magennis did not feature for Northern Ireland in their 2-0 win over Norway on Sunday, as the Green and White Army consolidated their place in second position in World Cup qualifying Group C.
The Addicks forward finalised his recovery from a hamstring injury while away on international duty and could be back for our match at Peterborough United on Saturday.
Jordan Botaka did not feature for DR Congo as they suffered a friendly defeat to Kenya on Sunday.
Meanwhile, U18s goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer will conclude his eight-day training camp with Australia’s U23s on Tuesday.
