Charlton supporters can cheer on Lee Bowyer’s promotion-chasing Addicks against Blackpool on Saturday, February 16th for just £5, as the club’s Football For A Fiver ticket promotions returns.
An annual event in SE7 since 2011, ‘Football For A Fiver’ sees all tickets priced at just £5 each anywhere inside The Valley.
The support for Bowyer’s team has been superb so far this season, both at The Valley and away from home, and has made a huge difference during games, with Charlton scoring seven times during the last 10 minutes of league matches.
At the beginning of January, more than 16,000 fans attended the Addicks’ home game against Sunderland and created a cauldron of noise as Charlton went head-to-head with one of their promotion rivals.
A similar atmosphere will hopefully be created against Blackpool in February and tickets for the Football For A Fiver clash will go on sale on Thursday morning. They can be purchased online by clicking here, by visiting The Valley in person or by phone.
Saturday, February 16th will also see the club celebrate its annual Academy and Valley Gold Days.
Bowyer has handed senior debuts to nine Addicks youngsters already this season and Valley Gold, of course, plays a huge part in supporting Charlton’s academy and many other areas of the club.
Valley Gold launched in 1989, with its original aim being to aid the club’s return to The Valley. When this was achieved in December 1992, its focus switched to helping the academy to thrive. To find out more about Valley Gold, please click here.
