Lee Bowyer and Lyle Taylor have been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager and Player of the Month awards for August.
Bowyer has led the Addicks to an unbeaten return to the Championship, earning four victories and two draws from their six games in the opening month of the season.
Meanwhile, Taylor has brought his rich run of scoring into the new season, netting five times in his six games.
Bowyer is up against Swansea City's Steve Cooper, Leeds United's Marcelo Bielsa and Bristol City's Lee Johnson, while Taylor faces competition from Preston North End's Daniel Johnson, Swansea's Mike van der Hoorn and Ollie Watkins of Brentford.
The winners will be announced on Friday morning.
