Below are some of the talking points.
On the result…
"Again the players gave everything. I think tactically we got it right again. I think first half we were by far better than them. We created a lot of chances but again we didn’t take them – the same as Wednesday. If you look at the game overall, I think a point is probably fair but I’m disappointed that we haven’t had more because if you go by clear-cut chances we should have won the game in my eyes."
On bouncing back after going behind in the 10th minute…
"We turned it around, we started to move the ball and we did what we are good at. We moved the ball quickly and they couldn’t really get near us I though, first half. We created chance after chance and we just didn’t take it. Macauley obviously got his chance at the end and that was probably a bit of luck that we deserved I think."
On the courage of Josh Cullen stepping up to convert a stoppage time penalty…
"He practices them all the time. Obviously Lyle is not fit. He had some courage and put it high as well, which is even more courage."
On a hectic week with games against Derby County, Bristol City and WBA…
"It’s been a tough week but to come away with four points against the three sides we’ve played against, and probably should have had more than that, it’s been a decent week with the amount of injuries. We’ve got a 24 man squad and 10 are not fit. That just shows how well they are doing. The recruitment has been good in the summer, otherwise we’d have definitely struggled on another occasion when you lose that many players."
