Charlton Athletic are excited to announce a new partnership with KW Holdings and Vitech Services as the club’s new front-of-shirt principle partners for the 2020/21 season.
KW Holdings and Vitech Services are family-owned businesses who have been long-standing Charlton fans for many years.
KW Holdings will be the new name on the front of the Addicks’ brand new hummel home shirts for 2020/21, while Vitech Services will appear on the front of the club’s new away shirts.
K Wisdom Holdings [KW Holdings] was set up in early 2020 by lifelong Charlton fan Keith Wisdom. Born and raised in Plumstead in 1949, he has been an Addick all his life and his father-in-law is Jack Shreeve - the FA Cup-winning Charlton full-back from 1947 – and it was this Charlton connection that led to his marriage which is at 27 years and counting. Unsurprisingly both Keith and Anne’s children are all Charlton fans.
Keith’s former business has been a patron to the Charlton Athletic Community Trust for a number of years now and this relationship will be continued and strengthened in the coming seasons.
In 2019, Keith sold one of his successful businesses 25 years after setting it up and formed K Wisdom Holdings to oversee his other business interests - Vitech Services, Walker Mower Partnership, K Wisdom Developments, K Wisdom Consulting and K Wisdom Properties.
Vitech Services, with Keith’s son Steve as Managing Director, was started 15 years ago by Director Orlando Filugelli and originally specialised as an electrical contractor. It has since diversified and now carries out maintenance, mechanical and plumbing works and small building projects and has worked with Charlton for the last couple of years at both the training ground and as matchday support. They were also proud to assist with the newly-refurbished changing rooms at The Valley that were unveiled in late 2019.
K Wisdom Developments, under Lee Cottom’s guidance, is a quality assurance and project management company within the construction trade. For 14 years they have been assisting nationwide developers with on-site quality inspections and snagging to raise the standards of modern-day property construction with Barratt London and Countryside amongst their clientele. In more recent years, they have also project-managed several larger-scale renovation and remedial projects for the likes of Redrow Homes.
Speaking of the new partnership, Keith Wisdom said: “When the opportunity arose to sponsor the shirts, I leapt at the opportunity. The club has had a bit of a rollercoaster of a time in the past several seasons and it is hoped there is a period of stability just around the corner, so the opportunity to get on board and assist the club is something I did not want to miss.”
Steve Wisdom added: “As a lifelong fan, it is an immensely-proud moment to be able to sponsor the club’s shirts. Whilst the brand awareness is a factor, we also feel proud that the ethos of our businesses is akin to that of Charlton and the numerous family connections strengthen that furthermore.
We hope to be able to take a more active role with some of the Community Trust’s work and help out where possible. As I have often said – It’s often not easy being a Charlton fan, but it’s never boring!”
Meanwhile, the club would like to thank Shane McLaughlin at BETDAQ and the Children with Cancer UK charity for their support for the last four seasons in what has been an exciting partnership.
Charlton's new strips for the 2020/21 season will be revealed this week, with fans getting their first glimpse of the brand new hummel away kit on Tuesday.
