2020/21 away kit revealed

Charlton Athletic have unveiled the brand new hummel away kit for the 2020/21 season.

The grey shirt is a modern take on an old classic, based upon the change strip worn during the 1988/89 season – a kit which was picked out by fans as a firm favourite during consultations with supporters last year.

Just like that strip, the grey 2020/21 iteration features a red, black and white trim on the neck and cuffs of the sleeves. Meanwhile, hummel’s famous ‘bee’ logo features in red, while their distinctive chevrons appear down each shoulder in black.

The Addicks’ new away shirt sponsor, Vitech Services, appears on the front of the shirt for the first time, with the red text of their logo fitting perfectly with the aesthetics of the 80s original.

ITRM once again appear on the back of the shirts, while Cannon Glass feature on the back of the black shorts which include white chevrons and red trim.

The shirt and shorts are complemented by grey socks which are finished by a black and red trip with black chevrons on the front and a black Addicks’ sword on the back.

Charlton's 2020/21 away kit, which was modelled by Conor Washington and Deji Oshilaja, alongside Rachel Newborough and Beth Lumsden of the Women's team, will be available to pre-order from next week.

Adult shirts will be priced £50, with shorts £25 and socks £12. Children's shirts meanwhile will be priced £45, with shorts £20 and socks £12.

There will also be a 'mini' kids' kit available which includes shirt, shorts and socks for £40.
