Lee Bowyer is looking for his side to bounce back with three points on Saturday against Shrewsbury Town.
Charlton travel to the Shrews, looking to continue their good away form, which has seen them win four of their last five games on the road.

He insisted though that he wouldn’t be taking the challenge of Steve Cotterill’s side lightly: “It doesn’t matter who you play, it is the way you approach it. Sometimes if a player or two players aren’t quite at it, you carry players. It doesn’t matter what position the team are, you can’t afford to carry players.
“I think Burton – that was a prime example. We pushed at the end there and that didn’t work out and on Wednesday night [against Milton Keynes Dons], I think they just looked a hell of a lot sharper than us all over the pitch, so it you aren’t at it from the first whistle, it doesn’t matter if it is a top side or a bottom of the league side, if you don’t tick all the boxes, then every game is difficult. You don’t have the right to win any game.”
Bowyer was focused on his side bouncing back after a mid-week blip with a loss to Milton Keynes Dons.
He said: “We have 30 odd games to go. I said after the game the other night, we were in fourth, we could have gone second, with a game in hand – we are not in a bad place. On Saturday we want to get back to winning ways. We have to try and get three points and move in the right direction again. The teams that put those runs together, or do have a blip and pick-up straight away, then they are going to be the teams that are at the top come the end of the season.”
