Nigel Adkins has selected an unchanged side for his team’s trip to Sunderland today.
The Addicks beat Doncaster Rovers last weekend courtesy of an early goal from Ian Maatsen and Adkins makes one change the squad with Ronnie Schwartz coming onto the bench in place of Chuks Aneke who picked up a minor groin injury in that win.
If the Addicks line-up in the same 4-3-3 used last weekend the Adam Matthews, Ryan Inniss, skipper Jason Pearce and Ben Purrington will make up a back four in front of Ben Amos. Jake Forster-Caskey and Darren Pratley are expected to partner in centre midfield alongside Alex Gilbey. Maatsen is likely to again operate on the right wing, with Diallang Jaiyesimi on the left and Jayden Stockley playing through the middle.
Schwartz is joined on the bench by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Chris Gunter, Deji Oshilaja, Ben Watson, Andrew Shinnie and Liam Millar.
