Charlie Kirk returns to the starting XI for this afternoon’s League One clash against Fleetwood Town at Highbury Stadium (3pm).
The winger will start from the off as one of five changes made by manager Nigel Adkins following the 4-1 reverse against Bolton Wanderers at The Valley in midweek.
Elsewhere, Chris Gunter captains the Addicks as he returns to the right-back berth, with Pape Souaré operating on the opposite flank, while Harry Arter and Alex Gilbey earn starts in midfield.
Should the Addicks line-up in a fluid 4-3-3 formation then skipper Gunter, Sam Lavelle, Akin Famewo and Souaré will form the defensive line ahead of Craig MacGillivray.
Arter and Gilbey are likely to man the midfield with Elliot Lee roaming ahead of them, providing support to frontman Josh Davison, who will be flanked by Jonathan Leko and the returning Kirk.
The Addicks' bench, meanwhile, is made up by Stephen Henderson, Jason Pearce, Sean Clare, Albie Morgan, Jayden Stockley, Conor Washington and Corey Blackett-Taylor.
Charlton: MacGillivray; Gunter (c), Lavelle, Famewo, Souaré; Lee, Arter, Gilbey; Leko, Davison, Kirk
Subs: Henderson, Pearce, Clare, Morgan, Stockley, Washington, Blackett-Taylor
