Women's Matchdays: Guide To The Valley
Is it your first time to The Valley or maybe it's your first time heading to a Women's game? This is a guide to everything you need to know when coming to a Charlton Women's matchday!
Tickets
Tickets for home matches that have been purchased online can be printed at home at supporters’ own convenience. Simply bring the self-printed ticket to the turnstile and scan accordingly to gain entry to The Valley. Tickets can be purchased via booking.cafc.co.uk. Alternatively, fans can choose to print their own ticket at home or have a mobile ticket sent to their phone. This can be scanned on your device at the turnstile to allow for a more seamless and digital matchday experience. All purchases made online are subject to a £1.50 booking fee. This applies per transaction, rather than per ticket.
During the working week (Monday to Friday) the club’s Ticket Office will be situated in the club shop (Valley Superstore) and is available to visit at the following times:
Monday to Friday 11am - 5pm.
On weekend matchdays, the Ticket Office will be open in its usual position next to the West Stand reception from 10am until half-time. On midweek matchdays the Ticket Office will be open in its usual position next to the West Stand reception from 4pm until half-time.
Ticket prices increase by £2 one hour before kick-off.
The Ticket Office’s phone lines are in operation Monday to Friday 11am - 5pm.
Calls to 03330 14 44 44 are priced at standard rate. There is an administration charge of £2.50 per transaction for purchases made over the phone.
Tickets for Charlton Women's games are available on the in advance or on the day but we would recommend purchasing in advance.
Prices for the league games are:
Adult - £10.00
Over 65 - £7.00
Under 25 - £6.00
Under 18 - £1.00
We also have hospitality tickets available for all our league games for an extra £10! This includes access to a lounge, a meet and greet with some of the team and premium seats on the half line! More information on hospitality tickets here.
Getting To The Valley
The Valley’s postcode is SE7 8BL.
On Women's matchdays the West Stand carpark operates on a first come first basis.
If the car park is full, it is advised to plan other options in advance as a lot of the roads around The Valley have parking restrictions.
London Buses 472, 486, 161, 177 and 380 stop near to The Valley. Some of these can be boarded from North Greenwich tube station, which is around a 10-minute bus journey from The Valley.
Charlton station is the nearest train station to The Valley and is just a three-minute walk away. Charlton station is served by trains travelling from London Cannon Street, London Charing Cross, Dartford and Gillingham. We advise fans travelling by train to plan their journey in advance.
Woolwich and North Greenwich are the closest tube stations to The Valley. Woolwich is on the Elizabeth Line and North Greenwich is on the Jubilee Line. Bus stops with services to Charlton are at both stations and North Greenwich also has a large taxi rank.
Pre-match activities
At our women's game, we have a new fan area in Bartrams which is located to the right of the main reception.
The fan area will be open two hours before kick off and will be filled with different family friendly activities, face painting and matchday themed celebrations.
There may even be player visits in there from time to time so look out for announcements on social media!
The Valley offers a range of food and drink on a matchday.
Different food can be found inside from the kiosks in the concourse and our fan area in Bartrams.
The Valley Superstore is the only place where fans can stock up on official Charlton Athletic merchandise.
From our bespoke replica kits to training wear, hats and scarves and small gifts, the Valley Superstore sells a variety of products that suit all price ranges.

NON-MATCHDAY SATURDAY: 10am - 4pm
MATCHDAY SUNDAY: 10am - 2pm

Fan Engagement
After each game the players have a limited amount of time to come and meet the fans!
The players are there to have a chat, take some photos and sign some autographs but will only have a limited amount of time to do so!
If you would like to spend more time with the players, the hospitality upgrade gives you the opportunity to meet different players each week in the lounge.
Each game there will be a matchday programme available from the clubshop for £1 which is open from 10am-2pm!
This season Charlton are introducing the Player of the Match sponsored by Carouse!
At the end of each game a QR code will be on the screen which fans can scan with their phone and vote for the Play of the Match.
The award will then be presented to the winner in the 1905 lounge!
At the half time of each game there will be a quiz running!
Get your team names ready as each week the quiz will be based on two different players.
Winners will be announced on social media and at the end of the season the person with the most wins will get a special prize!
Disabled Supporters
Tickets for fixtures at The Valley are sold to disabled supporters under the same terms and conditions as all Charlton Athletic fans. They are always priced at the relevant age category, which – if required – also includes a complimentary ticket for a personal assistant or carer. When booking tickets, disabled supporters will need to state their requirements. For example, if they require a headset, lift pass or parking space.

At Charlton Athletic we recognise that in order for some of our supporters to take advantage of all that we have to offer, they may need support from another person. To apply for a free personal assistant/essential companion ticket, you need to send a copy of your letter from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) that confirms you receive medium to high rate disability allowance to Charlton Athletic Ticket Office, The Valley, Floyd Road, London, SE7 8BL. Alternatively, you can email copies of it to tickets@cafc.co.uk.
Wheelchair users are accommodated at the front of the West Stand Lower where which allow the PA/carer to sit alongside them in front of all other home fans at the game.
All Transport For London (TFL) buses are now wheelchair accessible, as is Charlton Train Station and North Greenwich tube station. Buses can be boarded from North Greenwich to The Valley.
On women's matchdays the parking is free in the West Stand main car park. If you require a space close to the entrance please contact disability.parking@cafc.co.uk.
