Summer signing Will Mannion says he's loving life at Charlton following an impressive start to the 2024/25 campaign.
The goalkeeper has kept four clean sheets in the Addicks' opening seven Sky Bet League one fixtures, the joint-most in the division.
“I came in to be challenging for the [number one] spot and I've ended up keeping it," said Mannion. "It’s been a perfect start for me, and hopefully I can continue doing what I’m doing and keep my role.
"My main aim is to keep doing what I'm doing, doing my job as well as I can, and the stats will come from that.
“Me and Ash [Maynard-Brewer] have got a good relationship, and we've got a good working group at the moment with Hendo [Stephen Henderson]. It’s all very positive at the moment."
“I'm very happy here at Charlton," added the 26-year-old. "I’ve settled in really well, all the lads have been great, and I’m loving it.
“We feel very comfortable defensively. Hopefully we can get a few more chances created and then we'll be on our way."
