Mia Ross has been named in England Women's U19s Euro 2022 squad.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who signed a one-year contract extension with the Addicks on Thursday, features in Gemma Davies' squad for the upcoming tournament having played a vital role during the qualifying stages. Ross netted against Wales back in April as the young Lionesses secured their passage to the finals with victories over Wales, Belgium and Iceland.
Eight nations are battling it out in this summer’s tournament, hosted in Czech Republic from June 26th to July 9th.
The young Lionesses kick off their campaign on June 27th against Norway at the Městský Stadium, before coming up against Sweden on June 30th at Stovky Stadium. Davies' side then return to the Městský Stadium on July 3rd to face Germany in their final group fixture.
The top two nations in each of the two groups will progress to the semi-finals.
Everyone at Charlton Athletic wishes Mia the very best ahead of the tournament.
